Happy Thanksgiving
Terri and I are going to be with family this Thursday. We wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.
Black Friday Is Coming
This is why I do most of my Christmas shopping in July. This is about seven minutes of mayhem at one in the morning at the Boise Towne Square Mall.

All Request Music 4 You A Unique Online Radio Station
As you might imagine I listen to a lot of online radio stations. Most of them have been commercials stations like Z100 in Mount Shasta, WCBS-FM in New York, and KOMO AM1000 in Seattle for news and information about my favorite city. All of them are fun to listen to, but they miss one important element: Personal interaction.
This week I stumbled upon a unique online radio station with a great music mix and a very active and involved audience at AllRequestMusic4U. What makes it an especially fun station is the chat room, filled with a lot of fun characters like Hanna Be Deb, Kelden, and Rich.
I also noticed that, if you request a song, it is usually played within a half-hour or so, depending on how full the cue is.
They are live from 9AM in the morning until about midnight EST with live, volunteer DJ’s.
Stop by and give them a listen.

Pike Place Market And Baby Gramps
One of the most enjoyable experiences when I visited the Pike Place Market in Seattle was listening to the street musicians. One in particular was Baby Gramps. When he sings he sounds a little like Popeye. He has been a part of the Northwest music scene for over 40 years and even has an international reputation (he will be appearing at a music festival in Australia next year).
For those who have never experienced Baby Gramps, here is the video of his appearance on the David Letterman Show in 2006 doing Cape Cod Girls:

Starting A Book Project
I’m starting a book project this week and will be testing it on this Blog. I mentioned that I was going to write a book on self-hypnosis, but I’ve had trouble getting started. To fix that problem I’ve decided to write twelve short chapters on this Blog to test the interest in the book and also focus my energies on writing.
The series will start next Wednesday, November 25, 2009 and will continue for twelve entries (except Thursday, which is Thanksgiving. I’m taking that day off).
I will also be launching two more websites on Black Friday: MoodyPublishingCo.com, which will sell a wide variety of books, movies, music and gifts, and BizAdvice.org, which will focus on selling books and business publications.
I would appreciate your comments about the self-hypnosis books. The project will have its own category so those who are interested can find it again. If there is enough interest, I will publish it and make it available to the world for a price.
The balance of this week will be my usual columns and commentary.
