Still others are taking on jobs in professions they never thought about before they hit retirement age just to stay active…
There are some who are fortunate enough to “retire” to a life on the road, driving an RV from one end of the United States to another. One person I met a year or so ago sold his businesses and took such a journey. He finally got bored, though and ended up buying a radio station in Lakeview, Oregon. (I almost bought the station, but that’s another story)…
Me, myself and I (there are rumors that I have a multiple personalities) are thinking of starting our own radio show on one of the local stations in Seattle. Partly because I love radio and want to finish my life’s journey in front of a microphone. Partly because, when done effectively, it is a hell of a lot of fun (not to mention a great lifestyle).
