KZRO Great Classic Rock

I live in Boise and travel to Seattle a lot.  In my travels I get to listen to a lot of radio stations across the Northwest, many in major markets like Portland, Oregon and Seattle.

My favorite is KZRO, the Z Channel in Mount Shasta/Dunsmuir, California.  It is one of the best programmed stations I have heard in years.  Softer rock during the day and some of the best hard rock at night.   Their library of music is extensive, with 5,000 songs on compact disk, there is rarely a repeat.

I especially like listening in the early morning hours and when I can manage it, I will even listen to the Z channel on my Blackberry.  The sound on the Internet streaming is excellent.

I also like listening to the Dennis Michael Dog and Pony show weekdays.  Some of the listener emails he reads are great fun.  And, as you’ll see by his recent visitors counter, he has listeners in Canada, the United States, China, England, and even Boise, Idaho on occasion.

If you like great classic music and want a unique Northwest Experience, check out the window stream:  The ZChannel.
